What is covered in my wildlife photography workshop?
The topics can be tailored to each group to a certain extent, but you can expect to learn about some or all of the following:
Camera set-up and customisation
Using the right shutter speed for different subjects and conditions
Field craft

Group Wildlife Photography Workshops
These are suitable for photographers of all levels, from complete beginners through to experienced photographers. Each photography workshop is focussed either on a specific species, or on a range of species at a specific location.
All photographic locations are places I have personally visited multiple times. These are the places where I have taken some of my best images!
Wildlife Photography Workshop in paid hides
I can also arrange tuition days at some of the best wildlife hides in the UK. These locations are carefully stewarded to create prime conditions for one or more species, and are designed to have hides situated in relative close proximity so you can capture stunning shots of wildlife in its natural environment.

Wildlife Photography Workshops for beginners
These sessions are for complete beginners to wildlife photography. You’ll be able to learn the basics of everything listed above in a small, friendly group setting. And of course, we’ll still be at a fantastic location - you don’t need to learn in a classroom!
Whether you’ve just got your first camera, or you’re interested in switching to wildlife photography from another discipline, this tailored session will help you learn the fieldcraft and technical skills required.
